The Urge to Merge! – The Yoga of Relationships with Yogi Desai

This will be another awesome weekend with Yogi Desai! 

This talk, on relationships, has elements which reach way back in his many years of teaching.  A gifted teacher, from India originally, who came to North America at the prompting of his guru, Yogi Desai brings insight into relationship which can benefit most of us.  As he mentions below, the relationship we often seek is much deeper than an intimate partner, or lover.  This relationship seminar can support and even transform many of the relationships in your life.  Don’t miss this!  It will include lecture, meditation and breathing practices, as well as spontaneous inspiration and guidance from a recognized master.  As many who attended the Spring seminar will attest to, there is something ‘in the room’ when Yogi Desai is present.

Love is the elixir of life, the nectar that nurtures every level of our body and being. Love is the experience of ecstatic union where the separative wall between the lover and beloved dissolves and disappears. The experience of love is what we seek in every expression of life. It is the inborn, evolutionary urge to merge that guides us to search for love in countless ways in a myriad of forms.

We desperately search for love everywhere. We explore every possible way to find it. We would give anything to get it. We are willing to lose everything to have it. It is the ecstasy of union that we seek in every form of relationship and interaction with others – with ourselves – and especially with God.

Sexual love is a form of earthly love that primarily connects us to the innate biological urge to merge. Spirituality is the essence of love that is an innate, inborn evolutionary potential urge for union. The loving relationship can be a powerful medium for exploring and experiencing the purifying power of the Source of love within us.
